    3. FARMINGTON TIMES, Farmington, St. Francois County, Missouri, Thursday, September 17, 1903 OBITUARY Mrs. Ida Harrelson died in St. Louis Wednesday, September 9th. She was the wife of Elmer Harrelson of near Farmington. For some time it was known that she was afflicted with consumption, and her husband, in hopes that the climate of California would be beneficial to her health, removed her there last June. A few weeks ago she seemed to realize that death would soon come, and expressed the desire to return to her old home once more. Mr. Harrelson left California with her September 3d, and when he arrived in St. Louis he learned the sad news that his sister, living there, had died a few days previous and her body sent to Farmington for interment. While in St. Louis, at his sister's home, his wife died. Her body was sent to Farmington to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glover, from whence she was buried in the Knights of Pythias cemetery. She had been married about five years and leaves no children. Mr. Harrelson's sister, Mrs. Laws, was buried at Chestnut Ridge.
