Mr. and Mrs. J F Henderson of Cantwell received a photo and letter from their son, Paul R. Henderson. The photo was of his airplane fighter crew. The names given by Paul are Lieut. Duffey, Pilot; Ens. Phillips, Co-pilot; Paul Henderson turret gunner; H. S. Williams, Tunnel gunner, and J. F. Turney, radio man. Paul Henderson graduated from the Desloge High School in 1942. He enlisted in the Navy Oct. 15, 1942 and received his training in Great Lakes and Chicago. He went to gunners school in Jackson and Sanford, Florida and California. He was home in August, 1943. He is now somewhere in the Pacific. A brother, Melvin, who is a Gunners Sergeant in the Marines is also in the Pacific.
