    3. THE LEAD BELT NEWS, Flat River, Missouri. Friday, Feb. 6, 1920. ELVINS NEWS. George William Johnson, who came here less than two weeks ago from his former home in Jonesboro, Ark., and secured employment, died Sunday after an illness of only a few days duration, with influenza. He brought with him his wife and two-year old daughter, May. They were making their home in No. 7 town. The unfortunate man was 31 years old. When it was seen that he was seriously ill, a telegram was sent to his father, Luther Johnson, at Jonesboro. The father hastened here but arrived after his son was dead. He departed Monday evening for Jonesboro, taking with him the remains of his son, his daughter-in-law and his little grandchild.
