THE LEAD BELT NEWS, Flat River, Missouri. Friday, February 6, 1920. ELVINS NEWS. Miss Hallie Ashby, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Ashby, died in St. Louis Saturday after having been ill only a few days with pneumonia, following influenza. She had formerly been employed as a saleswoman in Miller's store, but left less than two weeks previous to her death for St. Louis, where she obtained employment. The remains were brought here Monday to the home of her parents. The funeral service was conducted at the home Tuesday and interment was made in the new Masonic cemetery.
