    3. Kim,   I am another one who is interested in those areas and facts.  My Larkin Howard and Lucretia Watts Jones came to live with Larkin's aunt in Madison Co, MO.  Then they moved to Iron Mt for a while.  Larkin is buried in Doe Run.  Lucretia died about 1872 and is buried in KS.  I am assuming that she went there to visit and died there.  She had had a child about Ap 1869.  They should have been in the census for 1870 with the relatives, but they are not.  A specialist looked for me and could not find them.   I know that Larkin wrote to someone about living at the Iron Mt. and I believe his son, Wm Benjamin Jones lived there for a while also.   I also would like to see if John L and Mary Conway Conway Haile and their son, Charles Price Haile are there.  This John may have brought a daughter into the marriage or she could be a full sister to Charles.  This is the only place I ever heard of a sibling of Charles if she indeed part of the family or if the information is totally false.  But they went to Iron Co when they married, but lived somewhere in SF Co.   Alanna --- On Thu, 1/1/09, Kim Myers <genealogykim@hotmail.com> wrote:   Does anyone know if there was an 1876 census for St. Francois county?  If so, does anyone have access or can guide me on how to conduct research on the census.  I am looking for Harrington/Herrington and Laughlin/Loughlin families in Iron Mountain. Also, what newspapers would have published information on Iron Mountain from 1866 to 1884? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
