WILLIAM R. KEEL, 66, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at his home. Born in Bonne Terre, Mo., he was a Chief Hospital Corpsman. He enjoyed fishing and Ham Radio. Surviving are his wife, Jean Keel of Fort Wayne; daughters, Theresa (Ted) Ramsey of Linden, Tenn. and Michelle (Andrew Kent) Keel of Denver, Colo.; son, Walter Keel of Boulder, Colo.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Dean (Susyn) Keel of Salt Lake City, Utah and Sonny (Sher) Valdez Jr. of Layton, Utah; and sister, Sue (Daryl) Ernst of Kaysville, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, William George and Mary Helen. Service is 1 p.m. Wednesday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue.
