    2. They did not always file a death certificate in that time frame. Especially if he died at home without a doctor attending. Are there funeral home records available. That is how I found my gggrandfather. He did not have a death certificate or headstone but I found his funeral bill and plot number at Boyer's. It has been very frustrating not being able to find his death cert. He had to have had one. I have a copy of the telegram dated 6 April 1917 that was sent to my Grandfather's sister Lucinda by her brother telling her "Father is dead at Irondale". Ulysses Grant Wallace, son of AJWallace sent it - ________________________________ From: Ruth Carver <sisterruthie@hughes.net> To: mostfran@rootsweb.com Sent: Thu, August 26, 2010 9:46:44 PM Subject: Re: [MOSTFRAN] Andrew Jackson Wallace and wife Frances CarolineWilsonWallace Thanks Marlene, If you hadn't found these two newspaper articles, I would almost believe he didn't die in Missouri because his wife did not. I have looked for a few others who died within the time frame posted on the archives website but found no death certificate. I pulled up all Washington County deaths for 1917 looking for something under Andrew or Jackson but found nothing. Wish I could be more help. 3. Boyers Funeral Home in Bonne Terre has been very helpful with my NASH Family as well. I would definitely suggest checking with them or any of the other Funeral Directors in the area. Good luck with your research.
