Beginning with Ms. Shake's posting to the list on 8/25/2010 and continuing through Ms. Wofford's reply on 8/27/2010, I believe most people would agree with me that the correspondence to the list was genealogical in nature and the questions and answer posted to the list could benefit most people who subscribe to the St. Francois Co., Mo. list. After that the I would be lying if I thought the last 3 postings added anything of a genuine genealogical nature to the original question. I can see Ms. Shake saying "thank you" publicly versus privately but after that seems like somebody got hold of my late sister's Chatty Cathy doll and are just pulling her string to here her talk. There are times when some individuals seem to think that the St. Francois Co. website is sort of a "Facebook" for people who are interested in genealogy. Give us a break. If you want to chat, there are over 500 million people who like to chat and there is no doubt in my mind that some of them are interested in genealogy and perhaps even in St. Francois Co., Mo. Euel p.s. if anyone thinks there is gender bias in anything I have written above I think you would be lying. ----- Original Message ----- From: Ruth Carver To: mostfran@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, August 29, 2010 7:59 PM Subject: Re: [MOSTFRAN] Andrew JacksonWallaceandwifeFrancesCarolineWilsonWallace I am not positive but to my knowledge, Boyer has never had a fire. In response to Euel B. Lyon's posting which is below, I want to state that I got a couple of ideas for my genealogical research from the general chatting. This was despite the fact that the people they were talking about have nothing to do with my research. What appears boring and useless to one person might actually have a point to someone else. I'd like for them to keep chatting in case I can glean something else. From my perspective, when in doubt, chat. Those who don't appreciate it can just delete it. Francois Co., Mo. list.
