The Lead Belt News, Flat River, St. Francois County, Missouri, Wednesday, August 19, 1964. MRS. CARL THOMAS. Mrs. Carl (Nadine Loraine) Thomas of Bonne Terre passed away at her home at 210 W. Johnson St., on August 13, 1964, at the age of 67 years, 7 months and 29 days. A daughter of the late Milton Grundy Poston and Mary M. (Mahn) Poston, she was born December 15, 1896, at East Bonne Terre. She leaves her husband, Arthur Carl Thomas of Bonne Terre; two children, Mrs. Henry (Wanda) Barron of Esther and Roland Seals of Bonne Terre; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and a sister, Edda Dawson of Granite City, Ill. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. The body lay in state at Sparks Funeral Home in Bonne Terre until Sunday, August 16, when services were conducted in the chapel at 2 p.m. by Rev. J. O. Craig, pastor of Centenary Methodist Church. Interment was in the Bonne Terre Cemetery, with arrangements under the direction of Sparks Funeral Home, Bonne Terre.
