Tom: You certainly deserve a hearty thanks! This is new to me, but I'll be checking it more later. May I suggest... Wash. Co.- did not find their excellent tombstone site, via MOGENWEB. It's the best I've ever found. St. Francois Co.- their gen. group has developed a full, well documented and most useful site. Try the 10K obits! St. Charles - an excellent group, publish a good mag, etc. Old state capital, home to my people who wandered in with that Boone fellow. Need to develop. Will contact you later, working on a big project. Again, thanks and good luck Regards, John O. Hi John, How does one contact that great St Francois Co gen group's site??? And that Boone fellow, he had some compadres whose name was Walker. Well, my Charles Walker is suppose to be related to them. The Walker Mill near Taylorsville, NC was his mill. His daughter Sarah Walker was friends with the Boone clan. Boone had a hunting cabin near there and near the Land Cem. With the invasion into that area currently, the cabin is probably gone now. I did get to see it. A Walker from Wayne was the first husband of my Nancy Conwy/Conway Walker Callahan who was one of my g grandmother's. He died 6 mo after the marriage and left a son, who I know about but do not research. This son was in St Francois Co. Descendents of Charles Walker were in St Francois Co and Iron Co. People who married into this family were in Shannon Co, Wayne Co, Madison Co. Maybe Reynolds. Alanna --- On Sun, 7/11/10, John O.
