Tom, Thank you, thank you! This just good enough to express how much you have helped those of us that kan't get to Missouri for research! We live in Yucca Valley, California, a hight desert community above Palm Springs. If we use the Family History Center up here we order films, wait 3 to 4 weeks and only get 2 weeks to view. I have already found death certs for 4 of my ancesters. And I live in Arcadia, CA, and yes I was once in Arcadia, MO, and the biggest library near me is the Los Angeles City Library. Driving 20 miles and terrible parking is just part of the problem, as the library does not believe that Missouri and especailly certain Mo counties do not exist!!!!! I have dreaded even thinking about going by bus and the walking due to a very bad knee and the unsafe conditions for that kind of traveling. A big LDS Library is 35-40 miles from me and is not open all the time. Again the driving is far worse than the above one. Once I drove there and found they had changed their days and hours and were closed. Parking was fine then. But the driving!!!! There is a yearly jamborbee that is very costly to enter and very costly to park and a long way to drive to. There sometime is a person sitting at the Mo desk, but there is nothing to look at or no way to ask questions. It is just a desk. Waste of good money to attend. Thank you ever so much, Alanna --- On Mon, 7/12/10, Mary Ann Klemundt <maryannklemundt@verizon.net> wrote: Tom, Thank you, thank you!
