Wondering if the "intent" was that there are 23 children, INCLUDING spouse of birth children???? The obituary states that Ms. Pigg was preceeded in death by 23 brothers and sisters and is survived by 2 sisters and 3 brothers. If that is correct, then the family consisted of 29 children. That is a bit hard to believe even for children born in 20th century. Can anyone verify if 29 children is correct or not? St. Francois - Family History & Genealogy Message Board Patricia G.
