I have seen this happen before. Also sometimes a relative or friend will post on a message board that the deceased frequented, in order to let others know why that person no longer posts. It is a modern day courtesy, and I don't think any harm is meant. I do agree, though, that the emails trailing after the post can get out of hand and are a problem. I don't know if there is a way to hide the "send list" when you do this kind of mass mailing, or not. Ms. Bishop's, Ms. Carver's, and Ms. Warner's responses were very appropriate to the subject. After those response, people seemed to be inserting in their private comments and opinions and in my opinion this board is not meant to replace Facebook, Twitter, MySpace or whatever else exists for people to chat with each other. Seems like every once in awhile, list subscribers forget what this list is about. I hope ya'll delete this after you read it.
