Does anyone know who the parents of Charles Jokerst (Tailor) listed as #10 of this "shooting match" was below? I have a Charles Jokerst born May 11, 1868, with parents Nikolaus Jokerst and Veronica Grieshaber. Nikolaus Jokerst was s/o Lorenz Jokerst and Theresia Siebert, which are Jokerst lines I'm working on from Bohlsbach. As far as I can see, there is only one other Charles (middle initial "C.") Jokerst that is could have been. He was born in 1853, but I do not have parents for him. Thanks for any help on this. I have Jokerst lines on both my grandparents sides of their ancestry. These newspaper articles are real gems! Thank you so much! Carol, Actually there is another. Charles Conrad Jokerst was baptized in Ste. Genevieve, born 17 Sept 1853, son of Charles Jokerst & Theresa Siebert. The third was baptized at Zell, born 29 July 1855, son of Balthasar Jockerst and Catherine Kuehn.
