    3. Ste. Genevieve Herald, Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, Saturday, March 20, 1886. FROM BLOOMSDALE. March 17, 1886 Wheat in this region, although damaged by frost, is not in as bad a condition as previously reported. Mr. J. L.(?) Boyer will soon board the E. C. Elliott for the State Metropolis to purchase a stock of goods for his firm. Thomas Tooloose, of Plattin, Mo., was sojourning in our hamlet a few days last week. The Pleasant Glade school closed recently. General satisfaction is manifested among the patrons of the school. Farmers have commenced plowing for oats. Several deaths have recently been reported in this part of the county. DIED. -- On Monday, March 15, 1886, Mrs. Lea Lalumendier, wife of Ed. Lalumendier, at the age of 43 years, and 5 months. The deceased was the only surviving daughter of 'Squire John B. Boyer.
