Ste. Genevieve Herald Ste. Genevieve, Mo. Saturday, Aug. 25, 1883 MARRIED: Wednesday, August 22nd, at the residence of Frank JENNY, the bride's brother, by Squire F.A. ROY, Christopher PETERSON, of Ste. Genevieve, and Wilhelmina JENNY, of St. Louis. We take great pleasure in tendering the happy couple our sincere wishes for their welfare and contentment. MARRIED: Tuesday, August 21st, at the church of "St. Mary in the Vineyard" by Rev. H. PIGGE, Mr. Felix M. HOGENMILLER and Miss Elizabeth MUESSIG. After the ceremony the invited guests gathered at the residence of Mr. Andrew MUESSIG, the bride's father, who did his best to entertain his friends in a worthy and becoming manner. The tables groaned under the load of the choicest viands; ROTTLER's lager flowed freely and the company enjoyed themselves in the best possible style, the old folks chatting, joking, playing cards, singing, etc., while the young people passed their time in a manner more suitable to themselves, by swinging the "light fantastic" or laying hopeful plans for the future. In short, everybody enjoyed himself hugely and our reporter, who could not tear himself away until the small hours of the morning, says that he has not had such a treat for years, which is saying a good deal, for when he is bent on pleasure, he certainly knows how to make all ends meet.
