Anyway, the following is from Sue Baze ([email protected]), who is descended from the Ott family. "By the way, I have been going to get a message off to you. The Gallus Ott that came over on the boat with Joseph and Anna Maria Hurst Ott. Ellen Cutler found that one for us. This guy was really Gallus Lurk. Evidently his parents died in Germany and Joseph and Anna Maria kind of adopted him or something. Later in life he changed his name back to Lurk and is down there in St. Gen and buried there.
