    3. Thanks to Traci for this information: Here are some items that may be useful in conducting African American Research in Missouri. They can be obtained through interlibrary loan... If anyone decides to check out any of these items... please give us an update on the materials. Greenwood cemetery noted below, is the oldest African American cemetery in St. Louis... it has been under a cloud of litigation because of neglect. I had a very difficult time trying t get information on this folder at the St. Louis WHMC. The staff was reluctant to provide me with assistance. I'm going this week to request an interlibrary loan. If you come across additional books and resources that you think would be useful, please let me know. I would also be interesed in purchasing "used books" for any of the resources listed below; with the exception of the St. Louis microfilm which is not available for purchase. traci wilson kleekamp african americans in missouri http://www.rootsweb.com/~moafram http://www.usgennet.org/~ahtopaag/indexusg.html --------------------------------------------------------------------- sl 577 GREENWOOD CEMETARY(1893) RECORDS, 1904-1996 1 ROLL MICROFILM WESTERN HISTORICAL MANUSCRIPT COLLECTION UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI-ST.
