Hello I am searching for information on a family who is found in the 1860 Census in Speedwell Twp., St. Clair County, Missouri, but has been impossible to find much on. What I know is that a Martha Ann Cave married a Charles F. Ashworth (actual name: Charles Fenton Mercer Ashworth) on November 23, 1856 in St. Clair County Missouri. In 1860, Martha Ann is listed as 18 and Charles Ashworth listed as 22 years of age. Martha Ann Cave and Charles are listed as residing with Josephine Cave age 13, and Merrit Cave age 8 and Sarah C. Ashworth, 10 months. Merit, Josephine and Martha Ann Cave are brother and sisters. There is a marriage found between a Merit Cave and Mary Earles in 1861. But, Merit is residing with wife Jenny in Butler County, (my grandparents) in 1880. Thomas
