During a recent trip, at an antique store, I ran across a map of Missouri in 1850. Since part of my family migrated to Missouri, and was living in St. Clair County at that time period, of course I was interested. But, I noticed that this particular map had the boundaries of the county outlined in yellow, and St. Clair County was on the outside of the boundary. Was this map wrong?
