Hello, I just subscribed to the list. I plan to travel to St Clair Co next week to do some research on the family of Burgess Hurt. Does anyone know if he is buried in a St Clair Co cemetery? He was born in 1818 and died in St Clair Co in 1888. I do not yet have census records, so I don't know what township he lived in. He had at least 8 children - Samuel, Amanda, Horrace, Rosina, Zack Taylor, Montry, Edwin and James. Will share info. Margaret in the beautiful state of Iowa
