I have info on Malinda Mosely's parents from the book "The Search for West Mosley/Moseley & His Descendants" by Modie Young Mosley 1989 of Clyde, TX, p. 455. It states "Mordecai Mosley of Franklin Co., VA. wb3, p. 212. Will 28 Nov 1819, rec 6 Feb 1826. Neamed wife Rebecca, daus Dorcas, Martha, Anna, Ruth Sally Thornton who shall pay MALINDA YOUNG on dollar as her part. Wit: Geo Menifee , Ambrose Raines, John Lavinder, John Lavin, Jr. Information from Franklin Mouseley says that Mordecai had brothers Clemond and John and they were children of John and Sarah Mawdesley of Prince George Co., MD, and it would "be natural for these brothers to go down the valley to Surry Co." John the father died ca 1744. Please let me know if you have this info. I am going to Ft. Wayne library next week, so if I don't answer you will know why. Regina Gray
