Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Fl1.2ACEB/126 Message Board Post: I have posted this on Moseley & Mosley also, as I don't know the correct spelling. I am looking for information on Millicent or Sydney Mosely who were born in the UK inthe late 19th century. They probably lived in London, and all I know is that Sydney became a famous journalist and that Millicent married into the Goodwin family. I would be extremely grateful if anyone has any information they could share with me. Thanks

    3. In my research for Fountain Moseley who married Frances (Petty) Pool, I think that there was a son and he may be a Samuel Mosley in Hardin County, Tenn. on the 1830 census page 405 Mosely , Samuel 1 male 20/30 2 female under 5 1 female 20/30 We know that Fountain was married by 1810 and with Samuel being born between 1810-1820 he could be his son, Samuel is on page 405 and Freetain Moseley is on page 406 in 1830 and we know that Parmelia b. 1815 was married in the 1830's Hardin County Tenn. Any comments to prove or disprove are welcome Nancy Hall Anderson

Surnames: MOSELY, RICKARD, BROOKS Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Fl1.2ACEB/125 Message Board Post: I found that Frances (Mosely) and Elisha Brooks had a daughter named Margaret W, b. abt 1839 in GA. Elisha and Frances were married 1 Jun 1814 in Putnam Co, GA. I'm trying to determine if their daugher, Margaret W, is my gr gr grandmotherm Margaret Winnie Brooks, who married Richard Rickard in 1855 in Randolph Co, GA. I know she was born in GA but have conflicting birth dates of 1830 and 1836. Margaret and Richard removed to TX in 1876 and were living in Stephens Co, TX in 1880. Richard died 1892 and Margaret died 1907. Both are buried at Cisco, Eastland, TX. Richard served in CSA in regiment out of AL. This is the ONLY Margaret W Brooks I've been able to find. This came from the LDS Church site. There are many Brooks in Eastland County who hailed from the same part of the country as Margaret but I haven't been able to connect them. Thanks, Cheryl
