    3. Hi, just wanted to comment that I always heard that Rutledge was named after a man by that last name. I was born and raised there in the 40's and 50's. I just got back from Mo. where I visited my 95 year old father and he owned land at one time near the Indian Creek Cem. The Tripplet family own land next to it now.
