    2. You're welcome--one more comment, Walt said you take the paved road just east of Rutledge to get to Indian Creek. That's true, but--the road is not marked and there are two or three left turn roads coming out of Rutledge--if it sounds like I missed it on the first try, your right. The fellow who lives at the turn off must get tired of folks asking if that is the road. When you finally get on the road and the pavement runs out there is a farm on your right. You can continue going straight, but the gravel kind of turns to the left before going up the hill. You cannot see the cemetery t until you crest the hill. It is always padlocked so you have to climb over the gate. The paved road kind of goes on longer than you think it should--making you wonder if you are lost again. You're not, you're just way out in the country.

    3. So if you see a gray Honda minivan wandering aimlessly around in a couple of weeks you'll know its me. ;-) About how many minutes does it take to get from, say, Memphis, to Rutledge or Gorin. I'm trying to get a feel for distances. Also, do people tend to drive the speed limits around there, even out in the country? Here in Michigan people always speed, even in town its always at least 5 mph over the speed limit and on the highways seems like 80-85 is normal. 2. The max amount of time between Memphis and Rutledge or Gorin would be about 30 min. People tend to speed a bit, but these are two way country roads that might have a tractor going between fields. You usually don't have them going 80-85 mph. Kirksville is approx. 30 min from Memphis and Quincy, IL is approx. an hour away. It just seems longer since most of what you see is farm land and cows. I used to live in Knox County.
