His Grandfather was Garland Ferdinand Carter and Grandmother was Ruth Gunnell Carter. I am specifically interested in verifying the following: Hester Carter married to Burley Wilson, I have only found the listing in the marriage index with the date and I have a blurred copy of a small paragraph regarding Hester dying at the home of her father, Eppa Carter. Virginia Carter was first married to William Burgess; then married George Ashton. I have a letter from a Burgess that started corresponding with Ruth Carter regarding the family, but finding minimal information. Virginia was widowed and married a 2nd time to George Ashton, while I have picture and memorial card, I don't have much information. Amanda Carter married a Robert McCandless, but I don't know much beyond that. Clara Carter Keathler was widowed and married a 2nd time to a McCoy, but cannot determine anything more about him. I have McCoy pictures, but the labels just don't fit. Any information is appreciated. I was fortunate to have pictures left to us by Ruth Gunnell Carter. Willing to share scans.
