I am confused. Were there two Strechley Allens ? My records indicate that David Allen married Eliza (Maiden name not known). I have names of four children: [1] Louisa, born 18 Jul 1833, became second wife of Mathew Buchanan; [2]Strechley born 4 may 1840, he married Eliza Virginia Buchanan, sister of Mathew Buchanan, [3] Volney and [4] John W. Allen. My records indicate that Strechley and Eliza were married 25 Feb 1861, in Scotland Co., Missouri. Their children were: [1] Agnes Katura (b. 4 Jan 1862;} [2] Edward Riban 9b.1 May 1864) [3] Flora Bedford( 17 Nov 1867); [4]James Wallace (b. 4 May 1870} [5]William (B. 16 May 1873) [6] Mary Belle (b. 16 Mar 1875); [7] Olive Appeline (b.25 Feb 1879) and [8] Myrlte9b. 26 May 1882) Allen. If any one descends from Louisa or Mathew Buchanan, I have the lines for a few generations back.
