I too am searching for Reeds. Daniel and Leanna. Three children (at least) born in Memphis Mo. Probably between 1841 and 1850. Then they are back in the Illinois census in Stark County. I am assuming they had relatives. Since we know little about Daniel's siblings, or if he even had any. Do know his parents in PA died at early age, sometime after 1818 and he was raised by his aunt and uncle Kate and Daniel Porter. Think there may have been some Porters down in Scotland County.
