Excuse me for jumping in here, but maybe this will help someone. Nancy B. Smith, nee Baker, was the wife of Jefferson B. Smith, son of William and Sarah O. Smith. Jefferson died 20 Sept 1872, buried Buskirk Cem., Scotland Co., MO. Children of Jefferson and Nancy B. Smith were Edward T., Mary E., Sarah E., James M., William A., and Caroline. Sorry I don't have anything on Sarah Margaret Smith or Humphrey Elias Smith. Because there are three separate Smith lines in our family, I try to collect as much Smith information as I can, in an effort to try to keep them all straight. I think it's a hopeless task. Kinda like looking for a needle in a haystack.
