My maternal great-great-great-grandmother, Frances Marian HALL ROOD b 07 Apr 1828 KY md 03 May 1874 in her residence Fabius Twp, Schuyler Co., MO, by Nicholas G. Shobe, JP, one George W. LEWIS b 1802-1803 KY. The witnesses were Frances's daughter and son-in-law, Frances 'Fannie' (ROOD) and James A. MARTIN. George W. LEWIS was married before and had one known son George R. LEWIS b 1836-1837 who md one Miranda A. b 1850-1851 and had a daughter Nora b 1876-1877. This latter according to 1880 U S Census Schuyler Co., MO. George R. and Miranda seem to buried in Cone Cemetery, north of Downing, Fabius Twp, Schuyler Co., MO. George and Frances are said to be buried in Fabius Cemetery, Fabius Twp, Schuyler Co., MO, but no markers are found. I'm just grabbing at straws here with a very common surname, LEWIS. Oh, I have shown that Lemuel LEWIS's wife was Lavinia KNIGHT b 1810. Thanks for reading!
