The book covers from the earliest time of the Native Americans to the earliest settlement of Scotland County touching on all towns but focusing on the Lawn Ridge community. Ellen Kirkpatrick Davison was born and grew up there. Her hard-backed book of over 200 pages has many true stories and over five-hundred illustrations, including photos, portraits, maps, drawings and other one-of-a-kind documents. It is fully indexed.
