Haven't done much on the genealogy in awhile. I have put together an excerpt in notepad (.txt) file. I have new Microsoft Word, but it doesn't work with other previous versions. I am going to attach below. I did have some contact with a Norma Jean Barker, Beulah Barker Carter's family. I have to look up her information and I will try and send that tomorrow. I don't have a whole lot. Did you check on the Missouri State Archives website. They are scanning death certificates up through 1956. It's been a great resource. Hope this helps. Regards, Julia PS It won't let me attach this file (Family History File_Carter-LaFever) as a recognize file. 1. [MOSCOTLA] MADDIX/MATTOCKS
    2. Hi Group, I am trying to find out about a Saw Mill that was used in Scotland Co. around 1860's. My 2nd Great Grandfather John T. Maddix/Mattocks/Maddox with his Uncle owned this saw mill after 1865 sold out a year later. It was suppose to be located in Unionton, his bio says. I believe it should have been Union Township. If anyone has information on this Saw Mill and who could have owned it with my 2nd Great Grandfather I would appreciate that information. Thank you, Rick Cole ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com

I have a new up-date on my Buford website ~ I would be pleased if you all would drop by and take a look. www.bufordfamilies.com Best wishes, Fern K. Buford Walker
