    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: a_utick Surnames: Myers, Brosius, Short Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.missouri.counties.scotland/1230.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I have a few people in Scotland and/or surrounding counties who I could use a bit more information on. They are Robert Myers and Elizabeth Myers, brother and sister, children of William Myers and Jane Makemson. Robert was born about 1831, but I don't find him after the 1850 census. Perhaps there is mention in that book of whatever became of him. Robert's sister, Elizabeth, born about 1837, is a bit of a mystery, too, because I am not sure who she married. She might have married Joseph Fetters, or Joseph Moore, or Thomas Childers. All these men married women named Elizabeth Myers. Perhaps your book might mention my Elizabeth and identify her by who her parents were, and mention who she married. I'd like any information at all about her. The other siblings of these two, for your reference in making sure you have the right Robert or Elizabeth are: James, Andrew, and Joseph. I do know what became of each of them, but if they are mentioned, I'd be interested in whatever is said in that book about them, too. Many special thanks in advance, A. Utick Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. If you would like to reply to them, please click on the Message Board URL link above and respond on the board.

Thrasher may have been the son of Stephen R. and Mahala (Roberts) Thrasher. Stephen R. was born about 1815 in Kentucky, and Mahala was born about 1819 in Delaware. They were married 22 Aug. 1848 in Marion Co. MO. Some time following the 1850 census they disappeared, and their children went to live with foster parents. Joseph P.'s death certificate states that his father was Stephen Thrasher. If Joseph was one of Stephen's orphan children, who were his foster parents and where was he raised?
