But just because I did not find him does not mean he is not buried in one of the cemeteries in Schuyler Co or an ajoining county, Like Scottland or Adair. My Great great grandparents share the same head stone, when who ever did the gathering of the names for this list they neglected to list my great great grandmother, but did list her husband. Heirs, children Thomas B., Mary V., and James Harle; Eliza McMann, wife of Hiram McMann; Martha V. Paul, wife of Thomas Paul. Ex. James Harle. The names of the children correspond with the names in the William Harle household, 1850 census, Knox Co., OH. There is a military stone in the Memphis Cemetery for Capt. W.H. Harle, Co. I, 21st Mo. Inf. No other information on the stone. Dodge's cemetery records list him as Capt. William Harle, "Co. 7" 21st MO. The stone is near that of Thomas L. Paul, son of T.R. and M.V. Paul, who would appear to be the Thomas and Martha V. Paul named in the will. No cemetery record found for Eliza Harle. Hope this will be of some help to you. I have not Harle ancestry but I was interested in your query here. I found Missouri death certificates for two (2) of William & Eliza's sons: James Harle (b 1841) and Thomas Burton Harle (b 1844).
