The SCGS building is at 115 W. Madison, about half a block west of the NW corner of the Memphis square. It's across the alley west of Primrose Realty, and it's a little building that used to be Ike's Palace Cafe for those who knew Memphis years ago. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ron Bryant" <bryant@qconline.com> To: <MOSCOTLA-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, June 05, 2003 10:48 PM Subject: [MOSCOTLA] SCGS location > Thanks. Hi My ggggrandfather William B Reed was born March 25, 1819 in KY. He marrried Sallie A Higbee November 1, 1845 in Fayette County KY. They came to Scotland County MO about 1852 via Randolph and Macon Counties MO. They had 11 children: Thomas, Robert, Sarah, George Edward, Charles, Joseph, John, Mary Francis, Annie, and William Jr. (I'm not sure of the order of births) William died February 22, 1875 after a bout with pneumonia and is interred in Richland Cemetary, Hitt, MO. Any info on William or his family will be of great interest to me as I have several other Reed names that I'm sure will tie in with my direct family once I find the link. Hmm, good question, but I don't know the answer. I've never seen any family history on the parents of Parnell Botts Barnett. Have been watching with interest all of the activity on this list. Will jump in here hoping someone has connections to or information about my family. John Martin Green, born Pulltight, Scotland Co, MO, 1862, son of John Green and Ellen Watts (also known as Mary). I have some info on Ellen's parents and bro and sisters. Have a total brick wall on father John. I have info on a Scotland Co marriage for John and Ellen, John seems to have died before Ellen and family left for Wyoming with her brother, Joseph Watts about 1870. Would appreciate hearing from anyone with a Green or Watts relative in that area from about 1850 to 1870. Linda Miller millrep@pinetel.com

I have had Bruner's connected to my BARKER line; but going through some of my BRIDGES data, I found an obit of James Robert Shobe, son of John and Jessie (BRIDGES) SHOBE. Listed is a sister, Ida Bruner, who resided in Holyoke, Colorado. (1957) Jessie Bridges was a sister to my grandfather, William Green Bridges, another sister, Mary Ellen Bridges, married William Gray REED. William Green Bridges, Mary Ellen and William Reed died in Tulare County, California. Theresa BARKER, my grandmother, married William Green Bridges and Harvey Hover. Any connections?
