I'm starting from absolute scratch here, so please bear with me... Rosetta Sutton (b. July 30, 1875 d. November 05, 1959) married Homer Foster (b. unknown, d. unknown). They had two children: Delores "Dollie" Foster (married Christopher Crawford) and Hollis Foster (b and d unknown). This is all I have to go on with the Foster family. I'd like to find someone out there who might know more. Do any of these names sound familiar? I'd be most grateful for any leads you may have to offer... Bethany Crawford

No, I believe that my John Lewis DRAKE b 15 Mar 1837 md 24 Jan 1861 Scotland Co., MO, one Lucinda A. WEYER b 22 Aug 1840 was the namesake of nephew John Lewis DRAKE b 17 Apr 1846 md 23 Nov 1865 Scotland Co., MO, one Eliza Caroline JONES b 20 Nov 1843 Scotland Co., MO. I believe the younger John Lewis DRAKE b 1846 was the son of one Elizabeth DRAKE b 06 Jun 1821 md 17 Aug 1842 Hardin Co., KY, one Thomas DRAKE b 1817-1818 VA. Their cousinship, if any, is not determined. I know my John Lewis DRAKE b 1837 above had an elder sister Elizabeth b 1821 and she was a DRAKE when mentioned in her their father's will dated 1867 (aboutt October); and a Thomas and Elizabeth DRAKE are found in Van Buren County, IA, (1856 Iowa Census) and Scotland County, MO, censuses. Are you descended from John Lewis DRAKE b 1846? I would like to correspond with you! I cannot answer about the MITCHELL line, but I descend from Lillis's husband's sister Nancy FULK WEYER. . . . and there was a Sara E. "Sadie" MITCHELL who married one William Preston "Diamond Billy" HALL of wild animal show/mule-supplying--Boer War fame, Lancaster, Schuyler County, Missouri (first contiguous county west of Scotland County). I think Sadie HALL's parents were William Francis b 22 Sep 1842 Schuyler Co., MO, and Elizabeth T. MARSHALL MITCHELL b 26 Mar 1846 Green Co., IL. I follow some collateral lines, the HALL name being one of many. Gene Bruner Denver, Colorado >From: "M.
