Hi, Hoping somebody is willing to check in some old Slater newspapers for me. I need to find out if Joab Spencer ever wrote any articles for the Slater newspaper about his days at the Kaw Indian Reservation. He was a prolific writer of articles on that topic. Joab Spencer moved to Slater in 1897 and lived there until 1915 when he died. Many thanks, Karren A.

Karren, I'm Karen. You would not believe how much info there is available re: Indian land or land records in general. Also, check The library of Congress. They have info on anything written or published since our country was founded. You could get that info on line. I have access to so much info. Write me anytime. I am an information junkie.
