Mike, Shackleford if a very small spot in the road about 4-5 miles west of Marshall, Mo, on Route 20. I don't think it is shown on any maps. Route 20 is shown on maps and it you follow it out of Marshall it shows a turn to the south before continuing on west. Shackleford is right at that turn. The funny thing now is they have a sign that says "Shackleford" on one side and "Shackelford" on the other. My father was a railroader and we lived above the train depot there for a couple of days while waiting on our house in Marshall. I went to the Shackleford school for 1 and 1/2 days in 1945.
