Joyce, I think I found that info on the Prather rootsweb mail list. Here is some of the ancestry of Lark: John Hunt Prathers' parents were Philomen Gittings Prather 1707-1767 Laurens Co., SC and Catherine Hunt. Philomen's parents were Thomas McKay Prather Sr. (ca 1671 Calvert Co., MD, died 1711 Prince Georges Co., MD) and Martha Sprigg. Thomas McKay Prather Sr.'s parents were Jonathan Prather (born 1635 Elizabeth City, Va., died 1680 Prather's Hall, Calvert Co., MD) and Jane McCay/McKay. Jonathan's parents were Thomas Prater (born Dec. 26, 1606 Eaton Water, Wiltshire, England, died 1680 in VA or MD) and Mary McKay. I have quite a lot of info on Prater/Prather. There are four volumes of books published on Prathers but unfortunately I don't have any of them. I'll try to answer any questions you may have.
