Marshall, Missouri Obits from in Vivian Allen Thomas Bible Jan. 6, 1959, Kansas City Star Mrs. Georgie M. Morrow Widow of College Dean Dies at 88. Mrs. Georgie M. Morrow, 88, widow of Walter E. Morrow, who was dean of Central Missouri State college in Warrensburg, Mo., many years, died today at the home of a son-in-law, Amos L. Burks, 107 East Sixty-fifth street terrace, secretary of the Board of Education. Mrs. Morrow was born at Arrow Rock, Mo., and had lived here since her husbands death in 1937. She was member of the Second Presbyterian church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs. Morrow was a descendant of Benjamin and Joseph Huston, brothers who built the Arrow Rock tavern, the first permanent stopping place for settlers west of St. Louis. She leaves a daughters, Mrs. Mildred M. Burks of the home, and and two grandsons, Walter M. Burks, a teacher at Wast high school, and James L. Burks, a resident physician at Memorah hospital.
