William Root, 47, farmer, b. Ohio George, 20, farmer, b. Illinois Leonard, 18, farmer, b. Illinois Sarah M., 16, keeping house, b. Iowa (is this Silissa in the 1860 census?) Allice A., 13, b. Iowa Mary J., 13, b. Illinois Louisa C., 11, b. Illinois (is this Caroline in the 1860 census) Neoman (?), 9, b. Illinois (this is a female) What happened to Jane? I believe the above William and Johnathon were brothers and that their father, Jonathan Sr., was also in the county. I further believe that William's son, George, married Jonathan Jr's daughter, Ida. She appeared in the 1860 census, but not in the 1870 census. Can anybody help me on these relationships? Thanks
