I am a grandson of Christina Veronica Duffy (you show Duffey) born Feb 26, 1875 in Saline County, Missouri to Christopher Duffy and Kate Keating. She married Emil Gerd Hagedorn on March 3, 1908 in Slater, Missouri. There were three children, Vincent F. Hagedorn (my father), Katherine Alida Hagedorn Gotmer, and Leo Christopher Hagedorn. All three are now deceased, with ongoing lines. I have a picture of Christopher Duffy and his wife Kate, but little substantiated biographical information. I had thought they both came here from Ireland. Family history says that Kate Keating's mother was Margaret Kennedy, from County Galloway, Ireland. She (Kate) was thought to have immigrated to America in 1865 with a sister, settling in St. Louis for a time before coming to Saline County (Sweet Springs area).
