    3. Patti: It really depends on which school you are talking about. There was one that was on a gravel road about 2 Miles East of Marshall Junction it was 300 to 400 yards off of old 40 hiway. I graduated from the 8th grade from that one room school house in 1949. It was used up until about 1952 or 53 then everyone was transfered to the new school which was a couple of miles east of there on 40 hiway. If you were on I-70 and saw an old school that was probably the school you saw. The first one I mentioned was called Prairie Lawn. I don't remember what they called the new school. We lived in that area and all I ever heard Marshall Jct. called was just that. If you have any other questions about that area I will try to help you.
