George Mueller and Bertha Schetter were my great great grandparents but I know very little about this branch of the family. Their daughter, Emma Katherine Mueller, was my great grandmother. She was born March 29, 1882 in Freeberg, Illinois but the Mueller family moved to a farm near Mount Leonard, Missouri about 1892. Emma married George Adolph Baldus on February 28, 1906 at the George Mueller home, four miles south and each of Mount Leonard, Missouri. They had a large neighborhood wedding with a big supper for all the guests after the wedding. The witnesses were John A. Mueller, Alma B. Mueller, and Maggie J. Baldus. One of the wedding presents they received was a small black dog. It remained a member of the family for many years. I am researching EDMONDS from about 1870 to 1910. Looking for a link between the EDMONDS of Saline County, Miami area to those in Howard County, Missouri. Links to Saline County include; James William Edmonds, who was an atty in the 1870 to 1880 period in Marshall and was married to Isabella CLAYCOMB. Wife Isabella died in 1870 and daughter died about 1880. Both are burried at Mt. Horab near Slater. Thomas Roland Edmonds wife was Victoria CLARK of Howard County they lived south and east of Marshall near Nelson. A son William married Annie Elizabeth VAN STEENBURG. This family relocated to the San Bernardino, CA area approximately 1910. Elias Lily Edmonds, married to Emma FISHER of Howard County. Lived in Saline County in the latter 1800's.
