I know Kate is listed with John in the 1880 census as a sister with a 1 month old child. She married George Jakes in 1882. They may have ended up in Kansas City...Laura is listed in the 1930 census. Thanks

Moore. This will help me to go backward a little more. I am confused on the cemetary posting as it says next to G.W. Moore's birth and death dates something about "father- William". I was thinking his parents were Samuel and Emeline Moore. This may be wrong...but the census shows the dates to correspond. George and Emeline are on the 1880 Saline census but I can't find them anywhere on the census records online for MO., ILL., IN. or TN. I'll keep trying. Anyway, thanks again...the info was awesome!! Tulsa county, Oklahoma, namely the Bixby community area. A Kays worker, Carole Schaeffer wrote to me today about our mutual family in Benton Co MO and I told her about the Kays-Mulkey family that I know of in Bixby and Broken Arrow. She thought it would be nice to know more about them so I did a quick search of them on the censuses and have them from 1930 back to 1880.. They are the ones you are talking about. I believe that Victoria married to a William Pelot and are on the 1900 census Saline co MO, Elmwood, dist 126, page 14 of 21 online, house 138, family 141, but not proven. Jesse Franklin "Frank" Kays is the one who brought his family to Oklahoma and his daughter, Martha J., born about 1906 in OK is the one I knew. She married to a John Mulkey and they lived in Broken Arrow OK when I knew them. According to her son's obit she was still alive in 1986. I can share the census reports that I have worked up with you if you want it.. Sincerely, Eddene Hightower Thompson of Spavinaw, OK.. PS.. My mother's dad's folks were out of Benton co, MO: Swift, Wickliffe, Clanton, Bailey, Adams, etc..
