Thanks Pat for the information. I also appreciate your link to your website. Is there anyone else out there on this list that has family history websites? We all might just find the clue we're looking for! I'm guilty of not publishing, but this summer I just might get the project done! I have never encountered any down time with rootsweb and am very satisfied as they offer uploading via your web browser or ftp. Click on the link that says request web space. Then on the one that says Freepages Accounts. There is some advertising on their pages but none of it is x rated and most refers to genealogical research. Would like contact with anyone having information on or is interested in the Purcell and Walden families. James Purcell arrived with his wife(Matilda Medcalf) and children in Arrow Rock 1855 from Hardin County, Ky. William Quinn Purcell b. 1843 (my great grandfather) was JP in Grand Pass, elected November 1876. He also operated a drug store in Malta Bend. His wife (Susan Walden) was born and raised in Saline County. Also, can anyone give me information on Fairville Academy? William attended in 1865.
Seeking information on this couple. They were married Jan 20 1841, Saline Co., Mo. Also find a Hudson Cave who married Sophia Gouldan, 1837. I am Haney/Haynie descent, trying to connect with some of Tarlton Haney's children, maybe through the Cave family line. Grateful for any help. Viola
