Hi there. There was a Daniel MORTON in the Campbell County, TN census. One male, 17 years old and he was a farm laborer. There was also a Dorcas MORTON who married Edmund Strawn in Guilford County, NC on 11/13/1822. I try to keep a lot of MORTON names in my database and I just did a quick search for a Daniel MORTON and a woman by the name of Dorcas. Hope it helps some.
