Hello. I am new to this List but have seen no activity since joining. I hope I am not the only Lister. I need the father's name for JAMES DAVID MORTON, born 26 Dec 1855 in Tenn. His Mother was named Rebecca. James D. Morton married MARY JANE FLEMMING (Fleming) 10-4-1877 in Arkansas. She was born 26 July 1854 in TN. Her Parents: E.B. Flemming and w/Nancy Jane. Will share what data I have. Will appreciate any help. Jean

There were Mortons early in Knox Co., Tn. but I don't have their info. My Morton was Halifax, N. S.
