I am searching for the information on my great great grandfather, JOHN REUBEN MORTON, born abt 1823 in Ohio. He married LEAH KEMMERER, she being born abt 1823 in Ohio. They were married in about 1848 in Ohio and were found in the 1850 Federal Census of Fairfield County, Ohio, Greenfield Township with one son. CHILDREN of: William T. MORTON, born 1849 in Greenfield, OHio David Edgar MORTON, born 1862 in Illinois, died 20 Feb. 1862, married "Anna" Angeline Patterson on 28 Feb. 1864. Children of: Sab Casa MORTON born 14 Dec. 1884, John Phillip MORTON born 7 Dec. 1887, James Benjamin MORTON, born 10 April 1889 and Sarah Elizbeth MORTON, born 27 May 1897. Since the dates of these two siblings are so far apart, we assume there are more children born but no names known for sure. John had a sister named SARAH MORTON, born abt 1827 in OHio as she was living with John and Leah in the 1850 Census and we believe him to have a brother named SETH MORTON from family photo's and family knowledge.
