Hi, Pat. My David had two brothers that we know of (George and Thomas) and one sister, Mary Ann. Both George and David named their first-born sons, "James," so we think that might have been after his father. The Morton children from David include Isabella (Ibbie), Mary Ann, Thomas, John, William Asbury, Elizabeth, George Washington, Prior Anderson and Nancy Catherine. We have never been able to find out anything about why my gg-grandfather would name his child Prior (Pryor) and then Anderson as a middle name. It should be a clue, but darn if I can figure it out. George named his children Julia, Kandis, James, George A. and Jasper. I would think the A in both George's name was Anderson.
